Thats good to know.. Ill see if shell take a look around and check some out then. I think it would be well worth it if we could get one going, Even if just to show some of the things we make that are near impossible to list in auctions. Thanks

I'm Back. I quit for awhile due to frustration but I have found my way back. I will be slowly listing items again, For I got burned out listing in large amounts. But I want to report I did have a few bids on some items, the bids didn't come close to my reserve price, but atleast they were bids. So if anyone is reading this and wondering if anyone actually shops here, the answer is YES! I have been listing on another site, and seen a few friendly links to each others stores or listings on that site. So if anyone has a buddy on Auctionfire, and your buddy sells diffrent merchandise than you, refer your buddy on your ME Page. I thought that was really cool on the other site, that people were doing that. The Sun is out bright today and I have coffee in hand, so I will say GoodMorning All, and grab a bite to eat.-Kelly

I started this topic a long time ago, I'm surprized to see it is still hot! I'm back, I was down and off line for about 4 months. I'm glad the topic I started is still going. This whole site is a joke. The sellers complain that the buyers aren't paying, the buyers are complainig that the sellers aren't delivering. I noticed a lot of "too good to be true" items but you never know, divorce, bankruptcy, drug abuse, can make people sell at ridiculouos prices sometimes. I think that bidding on this site is ludicris. I have bid on something (large ticket item) that I know is bogus because I have tried to contact the seller to make arrangements to purchase for cash in person at their conveinence (a deal everyone would like) and with week of no contact from the seller to realized that it is a "scam".. .This is a waste of consumers time, bad publicity for the site, and doesn't help the real sellers out there. Of course, I don't know who the real selers are and don't care to take the time or waste the money grams to find out. I just love reading the posts, they are very entertaining. If anyone spent anytime reading them, they would be a fool to sell or buy on auction fire.

| the reason could be quite simple, or the seller could possibly be no longer around remember the internet is full of predators please remember the danger in meeting anyone in person always arrange a meeting in a very public place if you must have them come to your home make sure you have protection, family, friends, etc. if you cannot do this, sometimes your best defence, is to just not respond at all

Hi mrtoby, thats actually very simple to answer even though auctionfire is an auction it functions more like a fixed price selling site so you don't see a lot of bidding activity and because it is a smaller site, you need to get out on the net and develop links back to your merchandise. also if you were selling on a larger site and say you averaged 40 or 50 sales a month and two of those sales were bad..non-paying buyer, or simply someone trying to defraud you 2 out of 50 is not a bad percentage but if you are only selling 4 or 5 items in a month and the same 2 are bad... thats a very high percentage..or is it? the numbers are the same..but the sales are lower so you have people venting, and complaining but usually it is just a case of not understanding so because they don't understand as far as they are concerned it must be the sites fault? but in reality it is very normal with online selling online selling is specifically a numbers game the more you list ..the more you sell the more links you have to your merchandise, the more views you get most negative postings are simply done out of frustration
