What is the cost of this service?
We charge no listing fees and never will. That is our pledge to you. We also provide free image hosting and will feature your auction within its category for free as well! Go ahead and your list your item(s) for sale, it costs you nothing. If your auction has a winning bid we will charge a 2.5% commission against the final sale price (not including your shipping and handling charges).
If the buyer fails to pay you we make it quick and simple to reverse our charge so that you do not pay a commission fee.
Are there any hidden fees?
No, absoluteley not. We do have some fee-based services such as the Seller's Ad-Vantage and Importing Feedback, but these are completely optional.
Do I need a credit card or bank account to join?
No, you do not. All you need is a valid email and postal address. However, you must be 18 years of age or older and consent to our registration terms and conditions.
Please beware that all instances of fraud are reported without hesitation to the IFCC (a division of the FBI) for possible investigation.

Why am I unable to log-in even though I have registered?
After registering, an email is delivered to the address you provided us with. To finalize your registration, you must use the password in this email message to log into the website. Later, you can change your account information to set your own password.
If you are unable to login be sure to carefully check your spelling. Cutting and pasting your password into the login box can cause problems, because sometimes an extra space is appended to the password when you "copy". If you are having trouble
remaining logged in it is typically a COOKIES issue. COOKIES are data packets stored on your computer. Check your browser settings. You should enable sending/receiving cookies or else you will not be remembered and you will be prompted to re-login on nearly every page of our website.
I did not receive my password, what should I do?
Your welcome email should arrive to your email box within minutes of your registration. If you are using some kind of anti-spam protection be sure you are able to receive email from admin@auctionfire.com. Disable any kind of blocking you might have or else add admin@auctionfire.com as one
of your friends so that we can send you your password. If you do not receive your welcome email within an hour you should request your password again by
clicking here.
I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

How can I change my user information?
You can change your name, address, phone number, password, etc., from the Change Registration page.
How do I update my email address?
Please use the contact us form so that we can verify your identity. Please provide us with your new email address.
How do I import my feedback rating from another auction site?
If you have established a good reputation at another auction site, it will benefit you to import that rating over to our site. We will also link to your other feedback cards.

How do I know I won't get ripped off?
It is our mission to provide you with a safe marketplace. You may check a seller's feedback from prior transactions by clicking on the number in penthesis that appears next to his or her name or by using
our search feedback link which appears in the navigation bar at the top of all pages. Additionally, many sellers verify their identity with us by providing credit card details that match their registration data. Verified sellers will have the icon next to their name. We provide all buyers with a link to the Internet Fraud Complaint Center where they can file a complaint for possible investigation by the FBI.
If a seller has zero feedback and the auction price seems too good to be true please proceed with common sense and caution. It is a good idea to use paypal to make payment since they verify sellers and will provide many forms of consumer protection. Sending a moneygram out of the country for a laptop computer at a ridiculously low price is a definite red flag for fraud!
