Do I own my domain name?
Yes, your domain is registered in your name, not ours. You have full rights to your domain and may transfer it to another hosting company anytime if you so wish.
Can I sign up with a domain that I already own?
Yes, you may. The cost of Seller's Ad-Vantage minus domain name is $85.00. Please contact us for instructions on using a pre-registered domain with Seller's Ad-Vantage.
How do I design my advertising banner?
There are a number of ways to go about this. You can use a graphics program such as Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks to create a banner.
Obviously this will require some graphic design skills.
Alternatively our graphic design department can custom design banner for you at a reasonable cost.

There is a website that will automatically generate a banner for you based on your input.

What are the banner specifications?
Banners may be animated or static.
Dimensions: 468 pixels width, 60 pixels height.
Format: .GIF or .JPG or .FLA
Rules: No profanity or nudity.
How many banner exposures do I get?
All banners in our system receive an equal number of exposures. They are rotated in a random fashion on all pages of the website, at the top and bottom.
The number of exposures you receive is based on auction fire traffic and how many other seller's subscribe to this program. There are no minimums or maximums, however based on our best estimate you will recieve between 10,000 and 50,000 banner exposures per month.
The number of "hits" to your auction page or website this translates into is dependent on the quality and appeal of your banner and what it is advertising.
You will be able to check your statistics in real time via your hosting control panel.
How do I bold my auctions?
All of your auctions (present and future) will automatically be bolded when you subscribe to the Seller's Ad-Vantage.
How do I design my custom auction page?
All users may create a "Hi" page, which is a custom auction page. You may add graphics, links, and text to customize your page.
With Seller's Ad-Vanatage you will have image hosting so that you can add graphics and photos to your custom page.

How do I use Photo Hosting?
You will be able to upload photos and graphics as well as web pages and many other file types to your hosting account which is included with the Seller's Ad-Vantage.
You can upload via FTP, a web based File Manager, or your own software such as Microsoft Frontpage or Macromedia Dreamweaver. Photo/image hosting is
useful if you wish to include extra photos or images in your auction ads or for your custom auction page.
How do I check my traffic stats?
You may log-in to your control panel at anytime to check your traffic stats in real time.
You will also be able to see where the traffic is coming from.
How do I design a website?
You may design your own or hire a pro. We have numerous resource links located at our Smart Elf website to assist you which ever way you decide to go.
How do I use my free website software?
By accessing your hosting control panel you will be able to choose what software you want automatically installed to your account.
We have shopping carts, email form processing, guest book, chat room, hit counter, and much more! Most software includes documentation or you may contact us for further assistance.

You should definitely add your website to all major search engines. Many of them including GOOGLE are free!

What happens if the Seller's Advantage price goes up?
You will be guaranteed the subscription rate for the Seller's Ad-Vantage at the time of your sign up even when the price goes up later.
Our current price is an introductory rate and is subject to change without notice therefore it is important you sign up right away to guarantee that you lock in at the best possible
price for this powerful advertising package.
How do I renew my subscription?
You will be notified by email when it is time to re-new your subscription. As stated above, your renewal rate will be the same price for which you signed up
for Seller's Ad-Vantage so it is important to sign up early, before our introductory price increases.
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds for the Seller's Ad-Vantage. You may cancel at anytime with no further obligation but we will not refund any of your subscription fee.
This is because domain registration costs are non-refundable and also because it is expensive for us to set up your account initially.
We are confident you will be pleased with this awesome advertising package and doubt anyone would want a refund, but we need to have our policy in writing just in case.
