AUCTION FIRE INTRODUCES WANT LISTS
July 12, 2003

To assist collectors, Auction Fire has added Want Lists to its' free online auction service offerings. A Want List enables a registered user to set up keywords whereby they will receive email notification should a new auction listing match their specified criteria. So for instance, if someone collects Harry Potter trading cards they can set up a keyword phrase: "Harry Potter Card" so that they are notified every time one goes up for auction.

The keywords can be as specific or as general as the user desires. The Want List may be viewed manually for matches in real time at the Auction Fire website. Email notification can be turned on or off for any of the keyword phrases independently. Another nice Want List feature is the fact that the email notification includes the item description and the photo (if available) so that the shopper need not visit the Auction Fire website unnecessarily unless the auction is of interest to them.

"We will continue to advance our technology so that we continue to grow rapidly and are recognized as a major player," says Auction Fire Founder and CEO Aaron Bradley. "The reason for this latest software upgrade is that it gives us the ability to acquire more new members even when we do not currently have what they are seeking in our marketplace. The Want List encourages new visitors to join us so that they can potentially find what they seek at a future time, without having to constantly re-check our listings manually on a regular basis."

In addition to Want Lists, Auction Fire has also introduced "Watch Lists" which allow members to bookmark an auction listing so that they may easily check its progress at anytime quickly and easily.

"We are working hard to make the marketplace appealing to shoppers and especially collectors. We understand that there are much larger venues available so we need to be innovative in order to successfully promote our website as an attractive alternative," says Bradley. "We are encouraged by our recent explosive growth, and have received numerous compliments from our current memberbase regarding our superior customer support and quality of service."
